Tuesday, August 5

Holy shit. I went to Valleyfair today. I haven’t been there since before I was a teen. The last time I was there, The Corkscrew Roller Coaster was the newest attraction and the second coaster in the park. Well, times have changed. I think there were five coasters there now, none of which I rode. I did do the water rides however. I was soaked from head to toe from about 11am until I got home at 7 tonight. I rode the Flume once, which seems to have a steeper drop than I remembered. I rode the Wave two or three times, and stood on the bridge afterwards each time. If you’ve ever been there, you know, if not, I can’t describe the experience. I also rode Thunder Canyon four times.

I heard on the news that a panda bear in the San Diego Zoo is pregnant, but they don’t know who the father is. The slut. Damn, I can’t wait to see that Maury Povich show. He’ll get the two male pandas out there claiming that ain’t their child, with her telling each one it could be. Look Gao Gao, he has black around his eyes just like you. And Shi Shi, you know we got our groove on. The whole thing will stretch an hour worth of afternoon daytime television time and end up with Maury paying for another one of his wonderful DNA tests to determine the real father of the baby.

Friday, August 1

Well here it is, the first day of August. Is there nothing going on out there? It’s getting boring. Hey, Bob Hope died. I was totally shocked by his death, because I thought he died like five years ago. Shows what I know. Hell he made it to 100, not too many people do that. Not too many people want to do that.

I’m starting to think about what in the hell I want to do with my life, and I honestly have no fucking clue at the moment. It’s like I have about 10 different things that I want to do, but none of them coincide with one another, meaning to do one, I would have to sacrifice the other. I think what I honestly need to do is get the fuck out of here. New job, new place to live and new outlook on life. If I can change the job and my residence, then I can let the rest of that shit fall into place when it needs to. I’ve already lost the weight, so my confidence is here, so now I just need to go conquer some shit.

Oh wait, that’s right, the president I didn’t elect has pretty much destroyed America’s economy and jobs are at an all time low. Better jack up the terror alert again George, because the rest of the public are starting to catch up with what I already know. The real threat to America is living in the White House.

Thursday, July 31

Yeah!! Last day of July. Oh wait, that’s a bad thing. Only one more official month of summer. This is one of the first years that summer hasn’t bothered me extremely bad like in the past.
Today was fun. Had some old lady in the store and she wanted some Stress Vitamin with Iron in it. Well, we have it but it has Vitamin C in it also, and apparently that wasn’t good enough for her. I say take the C and quit your bitching. Some people are never happy, and they wonder why I’m disgruntled. After her I had another one ask me if we sold meat juice in a can. Um, you mean broth? Yep, that’s what she meant. Then another one asked me where the Ben Gay was, and I showed her and she goes…Oh, nevermind I already got some in my cart. I swear they line up and plan to annoy us. I might have to update my customer page soon.

I bought a new CD at Best Buy last weekend. Ugly Duckling – Taste the Secret. It’s a very nice throwback to the old days of hip hop, if you remember that. If you were a hip hop head back in the late 80’s and early 90’s, go out and buy this CD, in fact get their other discs if you can find them. Journey to Anywhere and Fresh Mode. You won’t be sorry.

Tuesday, July 29

Holy shit, another month almost gone. This year is over half done already. Worse yet, summer is coming to a rapid close. Hell, back to school sales are in full swing, and we know what that means… Halloween isn’t too damn far behind. I’m getting rather sick of the same ole, same ole lately, I need to get away. I’m actually going to be going down to Arkansas in about three weeks, so that should be a nice vacation. I wonder how I’ll get along without the Internet for a whole week? It’s going to be scary shit.

I see the government is warning us that the terrorists may be planning another airplane assault. That’s just wonderful. Good thing we have all our people in place and our security is now top-notch. It is, isn’t it? I’m shocked the terror threat level hasn’t been raised yet. I guess we will wait until campaign time really heats up, then we will start trying to scare America into re-electing George. I certainly won’t vote for him, in fact I will vote for whoever runs against him. I don’t give a shit if it’s Kobe Bryant, I’m voting for that fucker. Hey, Clinton got a BJ in the office and he was a hell of a lot better than Bush, so Kobe would fit that bill rather nicely.

Friday, July 25

OK, what in the hell is going on with these old men and the farmers markets? First last week some old man runs down and kills 10 people in California and this week it happens in Florida? What in the hell is up with these old bastards? No more Viagra for you pops. So when are we going to start taking these old fuckers into the DMV and make them take their driving tests again? You can’t deny reality and think you are still as good as you were when you were 20. Your vision and reflexes and judgment are all on the downslide and maybe you should be checked on your ability to drive a 2,000 pound hunk of metal and plastic before you kill someone.

OK, onto something else. We killed some Hussein’s or something I heard. Shit I saw too. At first I thought it was a pizza commercial offering some buy one get one free pan special, but it was some blown up Iraqis. Hey that’s good, at least I know we are killing some of them too, since every morning I turn on the news and I have to hear about more Americans dying every day. Hopefully in 2004 Bitch Bush won’t get reelected and we can get our country going again. What the fuck am I thinking, the sonofabitch wasn’t elected in 2000 either. Funny how that works.

Thursday, July 24

Another shitty day today. This week has been a little different than usual. Monday I was so tired that I left work early and came home and relaxed. Tuesday when I got to work, I found out I had been volunteered to install the new computer at 1pm. Well, after waiting until after 2:30 to get the tech support phone call from our office (apparently we’re all idiots and can do nothing on our own without these people), he tells me it’s too late and we will just have to do it tomorrow. That doesn’t sit too well with me. About 3 he calls me back and has now decided we will start with the backup of the old computer and get the whole process going. I was at work until 6:30 that night working on that shit. That brings us to Wednesday. I came in early because I set up a Link Sys and some other crap Tuesday night in the back office thinking it was temporary, only to find out it was permanent. I had to come in and run all the wires and shit so everything would be hidden. I only worked until 10am and came home and did some biking. Today was a normal long day, and some more computer fun stuff. They installed Word 2000 & Excel 2000 on the computers in the back. Now these are old computers that are struggling to run Windows 98SE mind you, and there is no way in hell they should even be having an Office 2000 program on them. Well, they installed them and when you open them up, they shut down in about 5 seconds. They were still dialed in when I left today. At least it isn’t any of my concern, because tomorrow’s Friday dammit.

Monday, July 21

Another Monday here and gone. It’s been a hella busy weekend for me and I’m still tired from it. My friends moved about 50 miles away so I ended up helping them. Friday night we were up until midnight packing the big ass truck, then back up Saturday morning at 7, packed until about 5pm, drove down to the new house and started over in reverse. We unloaded until about midnight again on Saturday night and got up at 7 Sunday morning to start again. I didn’t get back to my house until sometime around 8 last night and I was extremely tired. I am still somewhat tired and will probably go lay down for the rest of the night and just relax.

Tuesday, July 15

Wow, this work thing gets to be more of a pain in the ass everyday. Tomorrow is real good. I have to drive to Minnesota for a meeting. A two-hour meeting. It will take me approximately two & a half hours to get there. Anyone above a 2nd grade math skill can tell that I will be driving for five hours to attend a two-hour meeting. Now, imagine working in that much stupidity EVERY FUCKING DAY. Now maybe you can tell why I am constantly sick of my job.

Last night was another joyous weather event. We were under a tornado watch until midnight for some reason. Apparently it was supposed to storm or something. It didn’t, unless you consider two claps of thunder and some rain a storm. I don’t. Minnesota got hit once again, which is just fine, keep that shit over there and out of my state.

I’m somewhat bored with my page lately, nothing to really update. I need a new Internet project to start working on, something fun and challenging. I’ll have to put my thinking cap on for this one. Shit, I don’t know where I put it.

Sunday, July 13

Shit, it’s Sunday the 13th. Oh wait, wrong fucking day. You know, I saw something rather disturbing today. A problem that I feel needs to be addressed immediately. Old men who go outside without their shirts on. Why do you do this? There is no need for you to be outside mowing your lawn without a shirt on. Nobody wants to see your 60 year old beer gut or your saggy nipples grandpa, so put a T-shirt on and spare me the show.

On the brighter side, I did see something kind of cool this weekend. Actually Friday night around 12:30am (technically Saturday morning, but luckily I’m not technical). I saw the Northern Lights for the first time in my life. They were extremely bright and were basically going like waves in the sky. It was a somewhat greenish color of light shooting through the sky. It was really damn cool. Luckily I was sober or I would have been really fucking freaked out over that shit. If you’ve never seen them, check out this site for some cool pictures of what they look like.

Friday, July 11

It’s about time Friday got here. I get sick of all those other stupid days getting in the way of a good weekend, don’t you? By now you’ve probably thought I won the Powerball and headed for the hills. Well, no such luck there. I didn’t even win one dollar this time. Two tickets matched, one in Missouri and one in Pennsylvania, so that wouldn’t be me.

I went biking tonight, the last quarter-mile or so, my left pedal fell off. Have you ever rode a bike for a quarter-mile with only one pedal? It’s very tricky let me tell you. My right leg feels very strong now, luckily I didn’t’ turf it or anything, which is what I was afraid of.

I finished my 3rd Bass site finally. Actually I think it was done Wednesday, but I can’t really remember. Maybe I’m starting to lose it. Now I am going to be bored on here, no pages to do. I don’t foresee redoing this page at all, and if I do it will be like a new banner, or different color buttons, but the layout is here to stay I believe.

Tuesday, July 8

Another day another dollar as the saying goes. I think it should be another day another headache as that seems to be the way it’s been going lately. Nobody won the Powerball Saturday night, so I’ve still got a chance. A one in 120,526,770 chance. So I guess I won’t be quitting that job just quite yet. I have won $7 on the last two times I played, so maybe my luck is finally warming up. Of course that was probably all the luck I’ll have on the lottery.

Not a whole lot going on other than that. Now that the 4th is over, things seem to be getting a little more normal around here. Asshole neighbors aren’t blowing off fireworks and shit like that now. The weather is back to comfortable again. It was so damn hot and humid over the weekend I thought I was in Florida or something. In case you thought I wouldn’t bitch about the heat, just remember, I bitch about everything. That’s my job.

I saw 8 Mile and Old School this weekend. I think they both will be added to my DVD collection pretty soon.

Saturday, July 5

Well, another day done. It’s Saturday and I didn’t win the Powerball as planned. There were so many good things that I could have done with 200 million. I had planned on contributing to several charities of my choosing such as; Best Buy, Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini to name a few. Oh well, everything happens for a reason I guess. I’m sure some 90-year-old won who is just going to die and leave it all to her cat in less than a year. Motherfucker is probably rigged anyway.

I noticed the fireworks stopped a lot earlier than they did last night. It’s one of those things you want to go outside and say hey fuckers, that was yesterday, get your drunk ass back in the house.
I went golfing today. Not exactly the best outing I have been on. Went to a new small 9 hole course around here. When I called for the Tee Time they told me 2:12. Now that is not a normal time, usually they do it in like 10 to 15 minute intervals, meaning they overbooked. On at least three occasions we had one of the employees drive up to us and ask if we could hurry up a little. Gee…should I try using both hands when I hold my club? What the fuck are these people thinking? Overbook the course and then bitch at us because you’re backed up. Fuck you and your pissy little course.
